By accessing the Luminest Cleaning Services website, requesting a quote, or scheduling cleaning services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Luminest Cleaning Services provides professional residential, commercial, and short-term rental cleaning services throughout Montgomery County, Maryland. Services may include, but are not limited to, standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, Airbnb and short-term rental cleaning, commercial cleaning, and customized cleaning plans.

All services are performed based on the information provided at the time of booking. Changes to the scope of work may affect pricing and service duration.

2. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are estimates based on the information you provide regarding the size, condition, and requirements of your space. Final pricing may be adjusted if the actual condition, size, or scope of work differs from what was originally described.

Additional services requested at the time of cleaning may result in additional charges.

3. Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations

To maintain reliable service for all clients, the following policies apply:

• Rescheduling Fee: A $25 fee will be charged for rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled service.

• Cancellation Fee: A $50 fee will be charged for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled service.

• Same-Day Bookings: Same-day bookings are excluded from the above rescheduling and cancellation fees.

We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for any scheduling changes.

4. Access to Property

Clients are responsible for providing safe, timely, and unobstructed access to the property at the scheduled service time. Entry instructions, access codes, keys, or on-site access must be communicated in advance.

If our team is unable to access the property or begin service due to lack of access, the appointment may be considered a late cancellation and subject to applicable fees.

5. Payments

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars.

• Payment Methods: We accept credit and debit cards only. Credit card payments are subject to a 4% processing fee. Cash tips may be given directly to the cleaning professional at the client’s discretion.

• Authorization: By providing a payment method, you authorize Luminest Cleaning Services to charge all applicable fees for services rendered.

• Declined Payments: If a payment is declined, the client has 24 hours to update their payment method. Failure to do so will result in a $50 administrative fee.

• Recurring Services: For recurring services, you authorize automatic charges until the service is canceled in accordance with these Terms.

• Invoices: All invoices are due within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. Past-due balances may accrue interest at 3% per month.

• Collections: Accounts more than 30 days past due may be sent to collections, and the client will be responsible for reasonable collection and attorney fees.

We reserve the right to update pricing, modify or discontinue services, or refuse service at our discretion. When applicable, pricing or recurring service changes will be provided with 30 days’ advance written notice.

6. Safety & Working Conditions

For the safety of our cleaning professionals:

• Properties must have working utilities, including electricity and water.

• Pets must be secured or disclosed prior to service.

• Hazardous or unsafe conditions must be disclosed before service begins.

Luminest Cleaning Services reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if unsafe or unsanitary conditions are present.

7. Supplies & Products

We make reasonable efforts to use safe and effective cleaning products; however, the specific products or tools used during service may vary.

If a client requires the use of specific cleaning products or tools, those items must be provided by the client and communicated in advance of service.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a cleaning service, you must notify us within twenty-four (24) hours of service completion.

Reclean Policy

• We will schedule a reclean of affected areas at no additional charge.

• A reclean must be completed before a refund is considered.

Refund Eligibility

• If dissatisfaction remains after the reclean, a full refund for that service will be issued.

• Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Conditions

• Failure to notify us within 24 hours voids this guarantee.

• Refusal of a reclean voids eligibility for a refund.

• This guarantee applies only to services within the agreed scope of work.

9. Workplace Protections

For worker safety, the following services are not permitted:

• Cleaning beyond what is reachable on a three-step ladder

• Cleaning of biohazard materials

• Cleaning of areas infested with insects or animals (excluding pets)

• Mold or toxin remediation

• Any task that may jeopardize worker health or safety

10. Limitations of Engagement

• Pets: Clients are responsible for pet care. We are not liable for pet health or safety except in cases of gross negligence.

• Personal Property: Clients must remove or disclose valuables. We are not liable for damage to personal property.

• Fixtures & Décor: We are not responsible for damage due to pre-existing conditions.

11. Website Use

Website content is provided for informational purposes only and may be updated or removed without notice. Unauthorized use of website content is prohibited.

12. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. No Solicitation of Workers

Clients agree not to solicit or hire Luminest Cleaning Services employees directly or indirectly for 12 months following the last service. Breach of this policy will result in liquidated damages of $1,000 per violation.

14. Photographs for Promotional Purposes

You grant permission for photographs of completed work to be used for marketing and promotional purposes. No compensation will be provided for such use.

15. Intellectual Property

All website content, trademarks, logos, and branding are the exclusive property of Luminest Cleaning Services and may not be used without written consent.

16. Changes to Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

17. Limitation of Liability

Luminest Cleaning Services shall not be liable for delays or failures beyond our control.

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the services rendered. No claims may be brought more than one (1) year after the cause of action arises.
